About Us

Nipissing University is proud to be a part of communities in North Bay, Brantford and Muskoka District in Ontario, Canada. In September 2002, Nipissing opened its Brantford Campus and, with Wilfrid Laurier University, offers a collaborative Concurrent Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Education program. You can earn a BA (Honours) in Contemporary Studies from Laurier and a BEd from Nipissing; required BEd courses are delivered in Brantford. You may enroll in either the Primary/Junior (Junior Kindergarten through Grade 6) or Junior/Intermediate (Grades 4 through 10) division, and you’ll have your choice of placements in Public or Catholic schools (from thirteen boards within 40 km of Brantford) where you’ll do your practice teaching.
